<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance protective performance by forming a transparent film layer uniformly. <P>SOLUTION: The printer comprises an ink cartridge mounting section, a thermal head for transferring an ink layer and a transparent film layer thermally to a print sheet, and a roller having an uneven pattern on the surface. Since the roller is pressed against the surface of the thermally transferred transparent film layer and the uneven pattern formed on the surface is transferred, the thermally transferred transparent film layer becomes uniform as a whole thus enhancing protective performance and visual effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
