A method for suppressing hypersensitivity, comprising contacting an oral composition comprising 0.5 to 20% by weight of hydroxyapatite having an average particle size of 0.01 to 10 μm, 2.5 to 10% by weight of potassium nitrate, and 0.5 to 25% by weight of calcium monohydrogen phosphate dihydrate to dentin of a tooth in an oral cavity of a subject in need of increasing an ability to occlude dentinal tubules of a tooth. |
