Process for the preparation of milk powder

A method of manufacturing a fat-containing milk powder whereby standardized milk is fed into an evaporator to obtain a pre-concentrate, the pre-concentrate then homogenized and further evaporated such that the concentrate has a total solids content of at least 50% by weight, the concentrate then spray dryed.
