There is provided a method of operating a mobile communication device to communicate with a remote server. The method includes the steps of providing by means of software operated on the mobile device means to input data relating to a payment card, authenticating the data relating to the payment card with an authentication authority, and providing by means of the software at least means to selectively set permissions on the remote server in respect of an account associated with the card. |
