In a process for the application, respectively the transdermal introduction of drugs, the output speed is influenced by acting on the skin temperature at the output location and by regulating said temperature to a predetermined value. A unit to implement such process provides a support having for example the shape of a casing (1) wherein a heating and/or cooling device (2) is inserted and wherein a drug may be arranged; such arrangement enables the temporary passage of a quantitative dose of a drug into the blood circulation system.
