<p>A winding machine for the winding of elongated members or cores, particularly annular cores, comprises an exchangeable and openable annular wire magazine journalled in a path of rotation encircling the cross-section of the member. The wire magazine includes two semi-annular magazine parts each composed of two semi-annular shell members (5,6) delimiting, on one hand, a bottom outlet slit (21) facing the axis of rotation of the magazine for the removal of winding wire and, on the other hand, a wire supply slit (17) located at the outer circumference of the magazine. The guide means of the magazine holder include a number of external magazine roller pairs (3), each comprising two rollers (3a, 3b) journalled in a common holder (4) and with a common axis of rotation in engagement with an external circumferential surface (7, 8) on a respective one of said shell members (5, 6). The holders (4) of the two semi-annular magazine parts (1a, 1b) are suspended in a common, flexible supporting member (9) to receive magazines of varying outer diameter.</p> |
