<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quiet air conditioner saving electric power, by reducing noise while increasing the air volume of a cross-flow fan in an indoor unit of a room air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: In a cross-flow fan 1 equipped with blades 12 on a disc 13, a warping line 17 indicating a center of blade cross-section wall thickness includes two arcs. Warping directions of the arcs are reversed each other, and pressure surfaces 18 of the blades 12 coincides in a rotating direction. An outer diameter side changes in a range of 60 to 80% in regard to an inner diameter side, thereby achieving flow passage width between the blades. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
