PURPOSE:To prevent the clouding of polypropylene layers to securely maintain the transparency of a vessel by thermoforming the surface of transparent laminated sheet having polypropylene layers at specific temperatures to form a vessel-shaped blank. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a laminated sheet having polypropylene layers is heated to 120-140 deg.C by means of a thermoforming core 30 having successive protrusions 31 and a thermoforming cavity to form a laminated sheet by vacuum forming, whereby a thermoformed item 20 comprising a plurality of vessel- shaped blanks 21 and planar blanks 22 is formed. And then cutters 32 are lowered from above toward the item 20 on the core 30 to cut it so that the planar blanks 22 are removed, leaving the vessel-shaped blanks 21 as they are. Thereafter, when an injection molding cavity 33 is fitted on the thermoforming core 30 and hot melt resin 25 is injected through an injection hole 33a, a flange 15, sides 16a and bottom 16b of a vessel 14 are formed. And the periphery 12 of a metal lid 11 is engaged with the flange 15 to produce a vessel with lid 10. |
