<p>PURPOSE:To display proper guidance information without hindering the work on a present picture by automatically determining the display position of guidance information to be displayed on a hop-up picture. CONSTITUTION:When a guidance display request is issued from, for example, a keyboard 4, a determining means, namely, a CRT controller 9 automatically determines the display position of the hop-up picture to be displayed on a display means (CRT) 6 based on the picture display state of the display means 6. A guidance display control means, namely, the CRT controller 9 controls the display of the hop-up picture displayed in the determined position in accordance with a key input and correctably displays guidance information in an optimum position corresponding to the display picture condition. Thus, the guidance is correctably displayed in the optimum position which does not hinder the display picture, and proper guidance information is effectively reported without forcing burden to an operator.</p> |
