PURPOSE:To reduce cost of metal mold and to enhance workability by pouring resin into the metal mold under a state where a detecting pin having a stopper part at a position separated by a desired length from the tip is inserted into a hole of the metal mold having shoulder part in the way so that the stopper part abuts on the shoulder part. CONSTITUTION:Inner face of a metal mold 30 is subjected to cleaning and then an ink detecting pin is mounted on the lower metal mold. At that time, detecting pins 20, 21, 22 and 23 are inserted, respectively, into holes 31, 32, 33 and 34 and stopper parts 20c, 21c, 22c and 23c abut, respectively, against the shoulder parts 31a, 32a, 33a and 34a. An upper mold is fixed under that state and resin is poured to-mold-tile housing 35 of ink tank. Heights of the tips of the detecting pins 20, 21, 22 and 23 with respect to the housing 35 of ink tank are regulated by the positions of the shoulder parts 31a, 32a, 33a and 34a of the metal mold 30 and the positions of the stopper parts 20c, 21c, 22c and 23c. |
