PURPOSE:To obtain both an automatic accompaniment for a beginner and an automatic accompaniment with high musicality and to obtain the automatic accompaniment with high musicality even by on-bass chord specification. CONSTITUTION:The pitch of pattern data is corrected according to a chord conversion table shown. In this case, +1 and +2 mean a half-tone increase and a whole-tone increase and -1 and -2 means a half-tone decrease and a whole-tone decrease respectively. Then 0 means no correction. Here, when 'Thru' is specified as a chord type, no pitch correction is made and read pattern data are used as they are. A chord having a specific root, type, and on-bass relation, e.g. IIm7/V is regarded as a substitute chord for 7sus4 and different from general on-bass chords. The same or similar process to the chord to be substituted for is performed. |
