Method and device for handling of powder in powder coating plants which comprise a number of spray guns (14) or the like. For the powder supply to the guns there is arranged an uptaking device (3) for powder from containers (1) for fresh powder, as well as a collecting device (12) for powder which has not been used in the spraying process for coating the work pieces (15). The supply of fresh powder and collected powder to a blending device (9) is done in predetermined proportions, within certain predetermined limits of tolerance, independently of the supply of said return powder in relation to the consumption in the spraying process. If, however, a surplus of return powder arises, this is allowed to accumulate, and when a deficit of return powder occurs, an influence on the spraying process is triggered so that it is interrupted or indicated for manual adjustment. |
