A compound ball-bearing includes a spindle 1 and a surrounding sleeve 2 which are supported for relative rotation by two rings of balls 5 and 9. One or two inner or outer rings 6 provided with a bearing race surface 7 may be provided interposed between the balls 5 and either the spindle 1 or the sleeve 2. The spindle 1, the sleeve 2 or a ring 6 may be formed as a one-piece moulding with an office automation motor component, such as rotor hub 11, base flange or yoke holder for supporting a motor coil. The sleeve 2, may alternatively be formed as a one-piece moulding with a pivot flange or have flanges at its opposite ends so as to serve as a pulley.
