摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method for an oxygen sensor by which the coupling characteristic between a solid electrolyte plate and an aeration path formation plate is improved so as to avoid the crack of the aeration path formation plate. CONSTITUTION: A solid electrolyte plate 11 having a measurement electrode 12 and a standard electrode 15 on its front and back surfaces and an aeration path formation plate 16 for conducting atmospheric air as standard gas to the standard electrode 15 are fired to be coupled unitedly. An unburnt zirconia green sheet being the precursor of the solid electrolyte 11 and an unburnt alumina green sheet being the precursor of the aeration path formation plate 16 are laminated and fired. The materials of the unburnt zirconia green sheet and the unburnt alumina green sheet are set so that the thermal contraction factor difference between the burnt zirconia green sheet and the burnt alumina green sheet produced during their cooling process stays within 0.2%. To be concrete, the zirconia green sheet is composed of partially stabilized Zr02 to which approximately 5mol% to approximately 7mol% of Y2 O3 is added, and the alumina green sheet is composed of 100% of Al2 O3 .
