PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the unloaded Q in a microwave region, to decrease the temp. coefft. of resonance frequency in a resonator, and to control the fluctuation range of the temp. coefft. by adding orthorhombic WO3 in an acicular crystalline state having a specified particle size in a specified amt. and a binder to Ba(Zn1/3 Ta2/3 )O3 , forming the mixture and sintering. SOLUTION: After mixing Ba(Zn1/3 Ta2/3 )O3 , orthorhombic WO3 powder in a acicular crystalline state having 1 to 6 μm grain size by 0.3 to 2.3 wt.%, and a binder, the mixture is formed and fired at 1,450 to 1,550 deg.C for 1 to 5 hours. Then, vaporization of the Zn component as the basic compsn. is suppressed, and the obtd. high frequency dielectric ceramic compsn. has stable component. Especially, fluctuation in characteristics in the production process is avoided, and >=20,000 unloaded Q is obtd., and the temp. coefft. for the resonance frequency is controlled to 0 to 1 ppm/ deg.C. The firing temp. can be decreased, which means little energy loss, and the production cost can be reduced to a large extent. |
