PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a material from falling in a hoistway via a doorsill clearance, reduce the narrowing of an air vent hole, and reduce a wind noise by attaching brushes having flexible linear bodies transplanted therein under the doorsill of a car in such a state as setting the tips of the linear bodies to the doorsill side of a landing. SOLUTION: Brushes 21 are arranged in parallel under a doorsill 12 for a car across the whole width of the entrance so as to block the doorsill clearance between the doorsill 12 of the car provided in the entrance of a car floor and the doorsill 2 for the landing. The brushes 21 have a base board 22 having top oblong holes 24 and bottom oblong holes 25 bored therein so as to be formed into a vertical zigzag shape in the longitudinal direction at prescribed intervals, a tape 23 for blocking one opening of respective oblong holes 24, 25 is stuck to the rear surface, flexible top linear bodies 26 and bottom linear bodies 27 are fitted in the respective oblong holes 24, 25 respectively, and they are stuck by an adhesive so as to form an ascending inclination of an angleαtoward the tip part. A landing side linear body 30 is transplanted in a landing side base board 29 attached to a toe guard 4 so as to ensure the block of the doorsill clearance.
