PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container of a structure that a straw is extended when a lid is opened, and its mouthpiece is advanced sufficiently forward from a spout of the container even if the straw of the structure expandable by the elasticity. SOLUTION: In a transparent plastic container for beverage, a straw support part 3 to hold the lower end portion of a straw 10 to be inserted in the container is provided in the center of the bottom of the container body 1. The straw holding part 3 comprises a center side end portion of a plurality of fan- shaped inclined surfaces which are radially raised on a bottom part of a container body 1, a center side end portion of a plurality of projecting bars which are radially raised on the bottom part of the container body 1, or a projection of the outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the straw which is formed on the bottom part of the container body.
