PURPOSE: A method for producing polyamide film and the polyamide film produced thereby are provided, therefore the crystallization of undrawn tube can be inhibited to increase the drawing rate and to increase the productivity, and the molecular orientation of the film can be improved to increase the modulus coefficient of elasticity. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing the polyamide film useful for packaging foods comprises the steps of: dissolving and pressing polyamide resin through a circular table; rapidly cooling with nitrogen gas and cool water having 2 deg.C or less and reheating it to produce the polyamide film; and biaxially orienting the film tube with 3x3 times with a rate of 130 to 160m/minute at 80 to 100 deg.C. to manufacture biaxially oriented film, in which the modulus coefficient of elasticity of machine direction(MD), transverse direction(TD) and diagonal direction are 82 to 88 kg/mm¬2, 60 to 80 kg/mm¬2 and 157 to 210 kg/mm¬2, respectively.
