APPARATUS FOR DUPLEXING TFCA(TIMING FREQUENCY GENERATION BOARD) USING OUTPUT DETECTING CIRCUIT IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for duplexing a TFCA(Timing Frequency generation board) in a communication system is provided to use an output detecting circuit composed of receivers and counters, so as to detect whether a failure is generated in an output driver of the TFCA and to stably perform a duplexing control of the TFCA according to a detection result. CONSTITUTION: An output driver(10) outputs 10MHz used as a reference frequency of a local frequency, 19.6608MHz used as a system clock, and an even_sec used as a reference time over all base stations, with ECL(Emitter-Coupled Logic) levels. An output detecting circuit(20) detects whether a failure is generated relating to a signal outputted from the output driver(10). An output failure status manager(30) manages an output failure status of a self board by using a detection signal outputted from the output detecting circuit(20), and displays a present management status when a debug command is inputted. A duplexing circuit(40) performs a duplexing control relating to a self board by using the detection signal.
