PURPOSE: A fluorescent display device is provided to arrange the position of a filament easily and to inhibit the bending angle of a support from rising by spring back. CONSTITUTION: A side glass(16) is mounted between a pair of substrates and has a closed space. An anode electrode receives current from a wire layer on one of the substrates and a fluorescent is coated over the electrode. A filament(28) radiates hot electron on power supply. A grid electrode(30) is mounted on the fluorescent-coated substrate to collide the hot electron of the filament to the fluorescent. Two supports(24,26) are bending-processed to fix/support both sides of the filament. One of the supports has a spring back reducer for inhibiting spring back. Therefore, the spring back is reduced to the maximum to inhibit the bending angle of a fixed member from rising. A specific part of the spring back reducer is used as an arrangement position of the filament to arrange the filament easily.
