PURPOSE: An apparatus for thermal decomposition of waste tires comprising a raw material supply pipe having an optimum structure to continuously throw waste tire scraps cut to a specified size, a cylindrical drum type thermal decomposition apparatus in an oxygen free state to continuously decompose the waste tire scraps and a scraper to effectively remove a carbide generated in the process of thermal decomposition of waste tire scraps is provided, which improves thermal decomposition efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a first preheating section (106) having a sealing structure for excluding outside air by filling oil into a curved section of a waste tire scraps supply pipe (105); a condensing apparatus comprising a high temperature condenser (122) and low temperature condenser (124) for supplying high temperature oil gas and producing oil by a vacuum pump (108); a cylindrical drum type thermal decomposition apparatus (111) for continuously decomposing the waste tire scraps; and a deposit removing apparatus (123) equipped with scrapers (133)(135) at its both end for removing a carbide, wherein the thermal decomposition apparatus comprises a first area for drying swollen waste tire rubber at 150 to 250deg.C, a second area for decomposing at 250 to 400deg.C and a third area for forming a carbide at 400 to 300deg.C.
