PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve back washing efficiency. SOLUTION: In the fixation of a supporting member 2 by folding a long fiber bundle 10 in two, the position of the end part 10c of a part of the long fiber bundle 10 is made different from that of the end part 10d of another long fiber bundle 10 and the length from the folded part 10b of each long fiber bundle to the end parts (upper end) 10c, 10d is made uneven. Then, in the case of supplying a back washing fluid in upward flow, the vibration of each long fiber is brisked because the contact near the upper ends with each other due to the vibration of long fibers is suppressed.
