PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ankle supporter applied to an ankle and preventing a cramp or convulsions in the calf and the swelling or the pain of the ankle. SOLUTION: The ankle supporter is developed in order to peripheral elastic tensile force to the bent part of the ankle connected from the lower part of the shank to the instep from below from above and equipped with an ankle housing part and stretchable bands having longitudinal elasticity extend from both sides of the ankle housing part and the leading end sides of the stretchable bands on both sides thereof are mutually fastened. For example, a fastening element such as a pair of hook and loop fasteners or the like is provided. When the ankle is housed in the ankle housing part and peripheral tension is allowed to act on the bent part of the ankle by applying tension to the stretchable bands, force acts so as not only to forwardly push the ankle but also to push back other bone rearward and, therefore, the slackened joint of the ankle is set normally and the swelling or pain of the ankle caused by fatigue and the cramp feeling or convulsions of the calf can be treated.
