PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject production arrangement for paste maintaining properties including viscosity, pasting temperature and adhesive property. SOLUTION: This production arrangement for paste intended for producing corrugated boards and comprising starch, an alkali, a thickening agent and water, has a starch dispersion storage tank 11, a swelling agent storage tank 12 for storing an aqueous alkaline solution, a thickening agent storage tank 13a for storing an aqueous solution of a thickening agent, and a paste storage tank 14 for storing paste produced, and also each specified 1st piping 21a and a 2nd piping 21b each for starch dispersion, a piping 22 for the swelling agent, and a piping 23a for the thickening agent; wherein the paste storage tank 14 also intended for feeding the paste to a paste vat is set up close to the vat attached to a corrugator for corrugated board production.
