PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power supply device which comprises a small number of components, consumes a reduced waiting power, and does not consume an excessive power in a power supplying state. SOLUTION: This DC power supply apparatus has a transformer 2, a switching means 3 which switches a primary winding end 21c and a primary small turn winding tap 21b drawn out from the middle part of the primary winding, a bridge-rectifying means 4a which bridge-rectifies an output between both ends of a secondary winding, an open/close means 9 which opens/closes the connection between the first output end of the bridge-rectifying means 4a and a load 8, and a selection means 7 which selects an input from the first output end of the bridge-rectifying means 4a or an input from a secondary small turn winding tap 22b drawn out from the middle part of the secondary winding. A first output is obtained between both the output ends of the bridge- rectifying means 4a and a second output is obtained between the second output end of the bridge-rectifying means 4a and the output end of the selection means 7. When the open/close means 9 is opened, the switching means 3 is switched to the primary winding end 21c and the selection means 7 selects the first output end of the bridge-rectifying means 4a. |
