PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade-proof panel enabling realization of blade-proof garments capable of following the movement of the body even when they are so formed as to protect a wide extent of the body from the chest over to the abdomen. SOLUTION: The blade-proof panel is constituted on the whole out of a plurality of fabric bases 1a and 1b having such dimensions as to cover the part of the body from the chest to the abdomen and a plurality of blade-proof strips 21a-26a and 21b-27b prepared by forming horizontally and continuously pockets P each having a plate- shaped blade-proof material 3 held inside. The blade-proof strips are fixed to each fabric base, at the respective upper ends thereof, in parallel substantially in the vertical direction and with a space left between, and suspended therefrom, while they are disposed with the vertical and horizontal positions shifted from each other so that the respective outer peripheral edges of the pockets P in the blade-proof strips fixed to the front fabric base and those of the pockets P in the blade-proof strips fixed to the rear fabric base may not coincide with each other. The fabric bases 1a and 1b in a plurality to which the blade-proof strips are fixed are put on each other with the respective strip fixation sides set inside, and thereby the blade-proof panel is formed. |
