PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct deviation of load distribution of a spline external tooth and extend a low cycle fatigue(LCF) life. SOLUTION: The spline joint transmits the power of a rotary shaft. In the shape in the plan view of the spline external tooth of the rotary shaft, the axial lateral side 18 is formed by the arc having a first radius of cavature R1 so as to continuously reduce the face width from the central part 16 to both axial A ends 17 of the rotary shaft and an arc of the second radius of cavature R2 shorter than the first radius of cavature R1 is formed at both ends 17 of the lateral side 18 so as to further reduce the face width at both axial A ends 17. |
