<p>The tool is assembled of two long handles (10, 12, 18, 24), each with a curved gripping area (14, 16, 20, 22) provided with a cutting edge (28, 30) located at one of its ends. Both handles (10, 12, 18, 24) are joined with a transversally inserted bolt (26), serving as a rotation axle. The standard version of pincers opens automatically when held horizontally, moving the outer ends of the handle (10, 12, 18, 24) into a position not to be controlled with a single hand. The new design is fitted with a stop (32) integrated in one of the gripping elements (14, 16, 20, 22) and preventing the handles (10, 12, 18, 24) from being spread apart in excess of a predetermined span.</p> |
