PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for optical disk in which the optical disk having a substrate and a light transmission layer being thinner than the substrate is housed and its warp can be suppressed within a prescribed limit value. SOLUTION: A cartridge 32 for optical disk is provided with an opening part 20 of one side of a thickness direction and an opening part 34 of the other side, Both the opening areas are made 1/4 of area of an optical disk 16.
