PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bacterial host for producing a recombinant protein improved in the stabilization of transcribed mRNA and protein folding efficiency by genetic modification, and to provide a method for producing the recombinant protein using the bacterial host.

SOLUTION: The bacterium is characterized by being suppressed in the degradation of mRNA and replenished with a gene encoding a molecular chaperone or a partial peptide thereof.
