<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and lightweight clasp with a locking mechanism preventing easy detachment. <P>SOLUTION: This clasp comprises a receiving fitting 4 and a fastening fitting, the fastening fitting is provided with a latch 8 incorporated in a case 2 and a locking member 3 locking with the latch 8 and the receiving fitting engaged with each other. The locking member 3 is formed of a magnetic material and has a spring 6, a magnet 5 is approached to the locking member 3 from the outside of the case 2, acts a magnetic force thereto to operate the locking member 3 against the elastic force of the spring 6 and open the locking, thus releasing the fastening fitting from the receiving fitting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
