A semantic-based 3D GUI is provided to enhance accessibility to a contents object and user convenience by helping a user check a contents type of the contents object apart from a view point of the user in 3D space without moving the view point of the user. An input part(510) receives manipulation information of the user. A display part(530) displays input information and contents object information on a screen. A controller(520) controls the contents object information displayed in the screen based on the input information. The controller includes a contents recognizer(521) recognizing the type of the contents to be displayed on the screen, and a contents display controller(522) displaying an image representing the recognized object type on the screen. The contents display controller includes a user color setting part(523) controlling display of color set by the user according to each contents object type.
