PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bead core capable of reducing weight and cost without sacrificing other performance by reducing the number of wires compared to a conventional one while securing a necessary width. SOLUTION: In an annular bead core 12, the wire 40s are aligned in a plurality of rows and a plurality of stages, and have hexagonal cross sectional shapes. The annular bead core has an annular outside trapezoidal part 12A which aligns the wires 40 and has a trapezoidal cross sectional shape, and an inside trapezoidal part 12B having substantially the same width of the upper surface as the width of the lower surface. The center of the width direction of the lower surface of the outside trapezoidal part 12A and the center of the width direction of the upper surface of the inside trapezoidal part 12B are disposed so as to be shifted by 1/2 of a distance L between the adjacent wires 40 and the number of wires is reduced while securing the necessary width.
