摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion exchange apparatus which can shift an ion exchange resin easily between a state having a high pressure loss and a high ion exchange efficiency attaching importance to the exchange efficiency and a state having a low pressure loss and a low ion exchange efficiency attaching importance to the low pressure loss even in operation of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: Many granulous ion exchange resins 21 are housed inside a case 19 of the ion exchange apparatus 18. A positive electrode terminal 25 and a negative electrode terminal 26 are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the case 19. By switching on an electromagnetic switch 29 connected to a conducting wire 27, DC electricity is supplied from a DC power source 28 to the case 19 to charge the case 19, pull in the ion exchange resin 21 in the state attaching importance to the exchange efficiency in the case 19 to the inner peripheral surface side of the case 19 by electrostatic suction power, and shift to the state attaching importance to the low pressure loss. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
