<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication device and a communication method that achieve correction of temporal changes in amplitude and phase without deteriorating transmission efficiency even when using a wide frequency bandwidth. <P>SOLUTION: The communication device is a communication device that transmits a transmission signal, having a data symbol sequence, by using a plurality of mutually-different frequency bands. The communication device is provided with an array part for arraying each data symbol sequence in each of the plurality of frequency bands by a unit of a prescribed number of symbols, a first symbol generating part for generating a first reference symbol having a prescribed waveform, and a first insertion part for inserting the first reference symbol to the data symbol sequence at a time interval corresponding to each center frequency of the plurality of frequency bands with respect to each data symbol sequence arrayed in each of the plurality of frequency bands. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
