The present disclosure is related to an instrument dedicated to the measurement of the pupillary time cycle of a user’s eye, preferably for clinical or research purposes. This instrument uses a slit lamp supported by location control means which allows having locally at least three degrees of freedom; which in combination with a slit lamp containing a LED (RGB) luminous source, it provides a highly selective projection on the location of the slit over the proband’s pupils. The device has image recording means which are sent to a digital computer or PC for digital processing, thereby providing as a whole, an instrument with an unparalleled degree of accuracy and repeatability of the measurements of pupillary time cycle of the proband’s eyes. |
