<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device in which a member on a wire is extended from the inside to the outside of a toner container and toner is prevented from leaking out of the wire through-hole of the toner container without newly arranging another member and also without impairing tension even in the case that the tension is given to the wire by a biasing means. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device has: a developing container storing developer; a developer carrier to feed the developer while sticking it on the surface thereof; at least one wire disposed in the developing container so as to be opposed to and in contact with or close to the developer carrier; and a developer leakage preventive member for the developer carrier provided so as to abut on the end part of the developer carrier, wherein at least one end of the wire is extended from the inside to the outside of the developer container while coming into contact with or penetrating the developer leakage preventive member for the developer carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
