PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current take-out method in which manufacturing cost of the fuel cell can be reduced and the airtightness of the pressure container can be guaranteed by reducing to a half the penetrating bushings required for taking out electric current generated in the fuel cell main body housed in a pressure container, and a current take-out terminal.
SOLUTION: A penetrating cable (6) which extends from the electrode on the non-grounding electrode side of the fuel cell main body is insulated from the pressure container and is made to penetrate through the barrel metal container plate (2a) forming the pressure container (2) while keeping airtightness of the pressure container. On the other hand, the cross section of the top end of the inner cable (8a) connected to the electrode on the grounding electrode side of the fuel cell main body 4 and the top end of the outer cable (8b) connected to the external device outside of the pressure container is increased and the top end of the cables are jointed tightly to both sides of the barrel metal plate with the cross section opposed, and the current is taken out from the inside of the pressure container to the outside of the pressure container in the state that the current density at the top ends is reduced. Thus, by reducing the number of penetrating bushings to a half, the manufacturing cost of the fuel cell is reduced. By eliminating the penetration portion of the pressure container, the current on the ground electrode side can be taken out, while guranteeing airtightness of the pressure container.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
