PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair excellent in the degree of freedom for designing a back plate into a structure which easily warps in a thickness direction in accordance with the load of a seater.SOLUTION: A chair is constituted such that it can nest such another seat longitudinally as has the same structure while the seat being at a popped-up position. Said seat has a back plate forming a structure, in which a central part is more liable to warp in a thickness direction than a peripheral part. The back plate is covered on its lower face with a seat rear cover, and an intermediate part of said back plate and the intermediate part of said seat back cover are arranged at a spacing through a warping space for allowing the warpage of said back plate. While being at a use position, said seat is so positioned while being directly or indirectly supported substantially horizontally by said leg frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
