PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal powder for powder metallurgy capable of manufacturing a sintered body with high density, a compound and a granulated powder, a sintered body with high density manufactured by using the metal powder for powder metallurgy.SOLUTION: The metal powder for powder metallurgy mainly contains Fe, contains Cr with percentage of 15 to 26 mass%, Ni with percentage of 7 to 22 mass%, Si with percentage of 0.3 to 1.2 mass%, C of 0.005 mass% to 0.3 mass% and a first element of 0.01 to 0.5 mass% and a second element of 0.01 to 0.5 mass%, where the first element and the second element are two elements selected from a group consisting of Ti, V, Y, Zr, Nb, Hf and Ta.
