<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic marking method and an automatic marking device capable of restraining the lowering of yield and changing the color of the mark to be printed on a commodity. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic marking device, serving as the marking device for a cable 1, prints a mark on an outer surface 3a of a cable 3. The marking device for the cable 1 is equipped with spouting means 311, 312, an encoder 33, and a control device 34. The spouting means 311 spouts a first coloring material against the outer surface 3a of the cable 3 at every prescribed quantity, and the second spouting means spouts a second coloring material against the outer surface 3a of the cable 3 at every prescribed quantity. The encoder 33 detects the moving speed of the cable 3 moving along an arrow mark K. The control device 34 makes the spouting means 311, 312 spout the coloring material as same as a prescribed pattern in accordance with the moving speed of the cable 3 detected by the encoder 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
