PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower equipped with a fan shroud capable of reducing a peak noise level related to rotary noise.SOLUTION: A blower 1 is equipped with an axial flow type fan 3 which ventilates air to a radiator; and a fan shroud 2 which rotatably supports the fan 3. The fan shroud 2 has a ring portion 21 surrounding an outer periphery of the fan 3 while keeping a clearance from the outer periphery of the fan 3 and extending in a rotary shaft direction; and an air guiding portion 23 which connects an outer peripheral edge 22 and the ring portion 21 of the fan shroud 2, and guides sucked air to the inside of the ring portion 21. The fan shroud 2 has a specific edge portion 22ab whose distance to an inner peripheral edge 21a of the ring portion 21 is short as compared with other part, of the outer peripheral edge 22. The fan shroud 2 has a back flow introduction passage 24 which is a passage positioned on a downstream side than an end portion on an upstream side at a tip end of the fan 3, and provided so as to extend from an inside part (a narrow portion 23ab) of the specific edge portion 22ab in a rotating direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
