A ceiling light (100) having a visible light communication function, comprising a lampshade (110), a base plate (120), a heat-dissipating element (130), a power supply (140), a visible light communication module (150), and a light source module (160). The light source module (160) is electrically connected to the power supply (140) and to the visible light communication module (150) and transmits an optical signal under the control of the visible light communication module (150) to implement communication. The light emitted by the light source module (160) is a visible light, which neither requires frequency band licensing nor produces electromagnetic radiation interference and has a transmission range that is limited to a lighted area, thus providing a high degree of confidentiality. The visible light communication module (150) and the power supply (140) are combined and arranged within an accommodating cavity of the heat-dissipating element (130), thus saving space and allowing a firm connection. |
