PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive device provided with a manual transmission and a manual-type clutch, capable of suppressing the generation of an engine stall and a noise in an engine when a vehicle is started.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive device 1 comprises: a clutch-stroke-velocity arithmetic unit 10 that computes a clutch stroke velocity Spc which is a variation of a clutch stroke Stc per unit time; a target-engine-torque arithmetic unit 10 that computes a target engine torque Teg at a time of starting a vehicle 100 on the basis of the clutch stroke Stc and the clutch stroke velocity Spc; and an engine control unit 10 that controls the engine 2 such that an engine torque Te generated by the engine 2 is equal to the target engine torque Teg when the vehicle 100 is started.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
