PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably execute rewriting of a program in a short time, thereby to improve work efficiency.SOLUTION: Control means includes a communication controller 2 having a communication region, and a controller 3 for normal control having a normal control region, and is provided in a vehicle. The control means stores an update program transferred to the vehicle from an external server 1 of the vehicle through external communication means N, in the communication controller 2. Also, the control means, when it is determined that update is enabled based on stop operation of a key switch 13, transfers the update program stored in the communication controller 2 to the controller 3 for normal control, and rewrites it.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
