PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device with which it is possible to secure a greater amount of received light by a light-receiving element and improve the accuracy of detection.SOLUTION: Provided is a liquid level detection device for which a liquid 51 accommodated in a tube member 50 having a light permeable label stuck thereto is the object to be detected, and in which a light-projecting unit 11 and a light-receiving unit 21 are arranged face to face in such a manner that the detection object is positioned therebetween, and the light emitted from the light-projection unit 11 is transmitted through the detection object and received by the light-receiving unit 21, with the liquid level of the detection object detected on the basis of the received amount of light, the liquid level detection device being configured to be able to more effectively condense scattered light than a generally used condenser lens (convex lens) by using a light condensation member 23 having a recessed light condensing face 23a for condensing light toward the light-receiving element 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
