PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve conditions of cultivating plants in producing useful protein by using plants, and optimize producibility of useful protein.SOLUTION: There is provided a cultivation method of plants in which agrobacterium having polynucleotide that codes useful protein is allowed to infect plants by pressure cycle treatment to express the useful protein. The method includes: a process of performing hydroponics to the plants in a closed type plant factory; and a process of controlling an irradiation cycle and ambient temperature at least in a part of the cultivation process, in which the irradiation cycle is 1 cycle or more during the cultivation process by turning on and turning off artificial light, and ambient temperature in light-on time is controlled to be at least 1°C higher than ambient temperature in light-off time.SELECTED DRAWING: None
