PURPOSE: A roll coater for coating annealing separator is provided which secures superior glass film characteristics and improves external appearance quality of final strip, and a grain-oriented magnetic strip manufacturing method comprising the process of coating the annealing separator on the strip using the roll coater is provided. CONSTITUTION: In an annealing separator coating roll coater(30) equipped with two rolls positioned with being vertically faced each other and installed at the output side of a decarburizing annealing furnace that is a continuous annealing furnace to coat annealing separator on a decarburizing annealed strip passing through the two rolls, the roll coater for coating the annealing separator is characterized in that a groove(31) having an angle of 10 to 80 degrees to a strip proceeding direction is formed on the surface of the two rolls respectively, wherein the groove is formed of a trapezoidal valley(312) and triangular peak(311), wherein the groove has a peak angle of 70 to 110 degrees, 25 to 40 peaks per one inch and valley depth (H) of 0.1 to 0.4 mm, and wherein a valley area of the groove is 3.0 to 8.0 mm¬2/inch.
