PURPOSE: A portable fingerprint recognizing key and an authentication system using the same are provided to block illegal usage of a portable terminal by adding a fingerprint recognizing function, and perform authentication function in moving or a remote place. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal having the fingerprint recognizing key function comprises a key pad(102), a fingerprint recognizing sensor(104), a bio informatics sensor(106), a microprocessor(108), a memory(110), a key signal transmitter(116), and a wireless communication part(114). The key pad(102) receives key inputs and other input operations. The fingerprint recognizing sensor(104) includes the bio informatics sensor(106) for detecting a bio informatics. The fingerprint recognizing sensor(104) blocks illegal authentication or forged fingerprint. The microprocessor(108) executes a software installed at the memory(110), and performs whole functions related on the fingerprint reorganization. The memory(110) stores fingerprint data transmitted from the fingerprint recognizing sensor(104) and data transmitted from the fingerprint authentication server. The wireless communication part(114) outputs result of processing of the micro processor(108).
