The flat radiator is used for pumped forced flow central heating systems. The radiator has upper and lower collector tubes connected by vertical tubes which carry heat transfer plates on one or both sides. The heat transfer surface is provided with sun blind type strips. This radiator can be used as universal radiator for single type and double pipe pumped flow central heating system. The front heat transfer plate is wider by the width of a vertical pipe spacing than the tube unit. The bottom collector pipe has in the region of the missing vertical tube a combined single pipe and double pipe connection unit. The upper collection pipe has a regulator connected to this connection unit.
